Another day, another temple. Banteay Srei was maybe my favourite temple I visited in Siem Reap. They say it is the women’s temple for the small details in the stone could have only been achieved by small hands. Not only these carvings, but the pinky orange colour is what makes this temple so striking and different to the more touristy populated Angkor Wat.
Upon entering the temple, I discovered my dress showed too much leg. So, I set off to the ladies and their market stalls in the proximity. I was lucky enough to find something slightly less ridiculous. Whilst the white elephant dress was cute, I thought it would be best left behind with the hotel staff for their family.
Although, the scarf is a keeper!
