My Most Useful Dress

This Summer, I have frequently come back to this dress. I bought it in Mexico last year, at the one and only H&M (similar here, affordable here and let us call it a bargin here). It certainly isn’t my usual style, but it has become a piece that I’m wearing once a week.

I have been a far admirer of the Victorian trend that has been flocking to the stores, however, my body shape has stopped me from being able to wear nearly any of it. I have a solid build, so therefore the cute puffy sleeves can just make me too broad. Similarly, where ruffles are often situated across the chest, my larger bust just becomes too overwhelming.

I have paired it with just about everything. These Schutz boots (see similar here and affordable here), are just one of my substitutes for sneakers and sandals.

What is more exciting, is that being its colour and how well it goes with boots, it will be the perfect transition piece into Winter. Paired with a coat, tights and scarf I don’t see it being worn any less. Hopefully it doesn’t fall apart!
